Flo Skypool plays a card few places in Malta can: the pool is on the roof, and the view runs across Marsamxett harbour to Manoel Island. You arrive for golden hour, get in the water while the sky turns orange, and the party builds as the light goes. It is an extended aperitivo rather than a club, and that is exactly why it works.

The regular fixture is the Pool&Party run by Events Lab, the Paradise Sunset Pool Party. Doors at 19:00 and last entry at 21:00: that is not a detail, it is the main constraint of the venue. Turning up at 21:30 assuming it starts late means staying outside. The season is busy, with around a dozen dates.
The feel is more relaxed than the Paceville clubs. You are in swimwear, alternating between the water and a cocktail, and the music stays on house and summer hits rather than heavy club sound. It is the ideal way to open an evening as a group before heading down to St Julian's when the pool closes.

Getting there
- In Gżira, on the seafront facing Manoel Island. Ten minutes on foot from Sliema.
- From Paceville, around ten minutes by Bolt for €8 to €12.
- Buses serving Sliema and Gżira stop a few minutes away.
- Parking on the seafront is difficult in the evening: avoid driving.
